• Strengthen the Commitment: an external review of the child welfare system – 2006-09-29

  A report into a review that was called on March 20, 2006 by the Minister of Family Services and Housing to examine and provide recommendations for improvements in standards, processes and protocols surrounding the opening, transfer and closing of cases in child and family services, as well as the caseloads managed by front line workers. Numerous other concerns were identified during the review, and are addressed in the report.
